Ercilla volubilis

Tough, self clinging evergreen climber with fluffy bunches of pale purplish pink scented flowers early in the year, typically February March. Sun or semi shade. Tolerates marine exposure well and is recommended for coastal or windy situations. Also good at completely covering things.
Ercilla volubilis was introduced from Chile in 1840. Given A.M. in 1975 (min -17c)
